autogenerate Debian package dependencies based on the dependencies declared in Makefile.PL - use dh-make-perl?
- refresh debian/control during release tasks in
Rakefile - update the installation instructions. If not using the Debian package, you must install non-Perl dependencies and then install using
cpan -i .- remove list of dependencies from HACKING
- the only place listing dependencies must be Makefile.PL. An exception is granted for debian/control, which shall be updated automatically during release process (see above)
- how to cope with the dependency on doxyparse (and other non-perl stuff)? -- check for them with
whichin Makefile.PL and add them as dependencies for the Debian package
